“In particular, on March 1 last year, on the second day after the submission of our application for EU membership, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on support and the need to grant Ukraine candidate status for EU membership,” the report says.
The President noted that Ukraine strives to complete the implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission as soon as possible and start negotiations on joining the EU this year.
Recall, the head of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, arrived in Kyiv on Friday evening, March 3, where she met with the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
Earlier, Zelensky and the President of Latvia met in Lvov.
