In Zaporozhye, rescuers completed the removal of the rubble of a house destroyed by a rocket
As a result of a blow to an apartment building, 13 people died, among them a small child, the head of the State Emergency Service reports.
The rubble of a high-rise building destroyed by Russian shelling in Zaporozhye has been completed. This was announced today, March 5, by the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk, the press service of the department reports.
“Zaporozhye. The rubble of the destroyed high-rise building has been cleared. Unfortunately, 13 people died, including a small child. Sincere condolences to the families. Thanks to the team of professionals who accept this challenge of fate. Zaporozhye rescuers, a mobile task force of specialists from Kiev, our psychologists and the Mobile Rescue quick response center. Each of you has a big heart and is doing an important thing – saving a life,” Crook said.
Recall that on the night of March 2, Russian troops launched a missile attack on a residential building in Zaporozhye from the S-300 air defense system. The shell destroyed several floors, people were under the rubble.
Employees of the State Emergency Service rescued 11 people. During the analysis of the destroyed structures of the house, rescuers got four cats and a dog from under the rubble. In total, from under the rubble of the house, specialists of the State Emergency Service unblocked 13 dead, of which one was an 8-month-old child.
