Georgian special forces used tear gas and stun grenades against the protesters, according to social networks on the night of Wednesday, March 8.
The security forces managed to push the protesters away from the parliament building and the square in front of it.
It is noted that the special forces used tear gas, stun grenades, water cannons and batons against the protesters. At least six people were detained.
Recall that on March 7, the Georgian Parliament adopted in the first reading a bill on the transparency of foreign influence, which largely inherits the Russian legislation on “foreign agents”.
