This Friday (10th) is the deadline for registration to compete for a vacancy in the Student Financing Fund (Fies) in the first half of this year. Students applying must have participated in at least one edition of the National High School Examination (Enem) since 2010 without having zeroed the essay and with at least 450 points average.
To register, the student must access the Fies tab on the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education and click on the link “Inscreva-se”. To do so, you need to create or log in with your gov.br account.
The result of the selection will be released on March 14th and can be accessed through the same link where the student registered.
Contemplated candidates will have between the 15th and 17th of this month to complete the information given at the time of registration for the educational institution in which they were selected.
For this, it is important to be aware of the deadlines, gather all the necessary documents and know the places and times made available by the institution to confirm the vacancy and enroll.
The Fies installments begin to be paid only after completing the undergraduate course. The funding, which benefits students with a per capita family income of up to three minimum wages, may vary according to the student’s family income.
Waiting list
Between March 21st and May 18th, the waiting list will be called, with the aim of occupying all the vacancies made available for Fies at private universities and calling on students who were not included in the first call.
The complete schedule can also be accessed on the Single Portal, which is the platform created by the Ministry of Education (MEC) for higher education admission processes that use the Enem score.
