BEB seized tobacco products in Odessa region
Law enforcement officers searched warehouses on the territory of the industrial zone in the suburbs of Odessa and found more than 279 thousand packs and 702 cans of tobacco.
Detectives of the territorial administration of the Bureau of Economic Security seized tobacco for hookahs without excise stamps in the Odessa region for a total amount of more than 31 million hryvnias. This was reported by the press service of the BEB.
It is reported that law enforcement officers conducted searches of warehouses on the territory of the industrial zone in the suburbs of Odessa and found more than 279 thousand packs and 702 cans of tobacco. Further illegal sale of tobacco for hookahs was planned by wholesale and retail parties through Internet sites, telegram channels and retail outlets throughout Ukraine.
The day before, a large-scale production of a full cycle of counterfeit perfumery products of famous world brands was exposed there. The scheme for the production of perfumery was carried out by an organized criminal group of persons, which included natives of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Recall that searches were carried out at a tobacco factory in the Lviv region.
