“Our undercover agent, embedded in this group, came into contact with a man from Russia. The second Russian citizen, Andrei, came to Moldova to organize training. He had previously been to Moldova, changed his name and documents several times so that he could not be was traced,” Cerneutyanu said.
The head of police also said that the organizers of future riots formed 10 groups of 10 people, who were trained for actions. All their actions were coordinated from Russia. At the same time, all those recruited were promised 10 thousand dollars for organizing the riots and support from the political forces in Moldova. Yesterday, seven of them were detained and taken to the police.
Cerneuteanu also showed recordings taken with a hidden camera, which depicted training.
