US to provide almost $120 million in financial assistance to Ukraine

The United States will provide Ukraine with $118.5 million to help fight HIV/AIDS. This is reported by the government of Ukraine with reference to the information of the Ministry of Health.
It is noted that US Global AIDS Coordinator John N. Nkengasong announced the allocation of general funding to Ukraine for a period of two years.
The US President’s Emergency HIV/AIDS Relief Initiative is to provide technical assistance and a range of direct services to maximize the quality, reach, and impact of the national response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
