Viktor Nikolyuk, commander of the training of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that today the Armed Forces of Ukraine, armed with experience and the latest technology from partners, are ready for different scenarios. The Major General’s words were published by the General Staff on March 14.
Nikolyuk noted that during the offensive in the Chernihiv region, the Russians used the tactics of “intimidation”, “pressure by the masses.”
“They advanced in columns and thought that they would reach Kiev and conquer our capital. We destroyed all the logistical routes of the Russian troops, and they simply got stuck without fuel and ammunition,” he specified.
The commander recalled that the retreat began at the end of March and continued until the beginning of May.
At the same time, during the offensive, the invaders lost more than 50% of the total number.
“Today, armed with experience and the latest technology from partners, we are ready for different scenarios. Everyone who wants to get to the Kobzon concert should get this chance,” the Major General emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that Nikolyuk left the post of commander of the Operational Command North and became the commander of the training of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
