The main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on offensive actions in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miners directions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a summary of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine as of Tuesday evening, March 14.
The General Staff notes that the Russian Federation is focusing its main efforts on offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Shakhtyorsky directions and does not leave attempts to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
It is reported that during the day, enemy troops launched 30 air and 8 missile strikes, one of which was on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. A three-story residential building was damaged there, there are dead and wounded.
Another missile attack was carried out on a village in the Odessa region – one of the buildings of the Zolotaya Rybka children’s educational institution was damaged by rocket fragments, people were not injured.
In addition, more than 33 multiple launch rocket launchers were fired by enemy troops. The level of missile threat throughout Ukraine remains high.
The General Staff notes that the enemy does not leave attempts to capture the city of Bakhmut, where constant positional battles continue.
It is also reported that in the settlement of Abrikosovka in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, Russian troops, with the support of the local so-called occupation “authority”, carried out filtration measures. It is noted that the reason for searches in houses and inspections of mobile communications, laptops and computers was the Ukrainian Defense Forces getting into the base of one of the units of the Russian army. As a result of the successful work of the Defense Forces, four units of armored vehicles (IFV/ACS) and at least 15 invaders were completely destroyed. The number of wounded is being checked and specified.
Aviation of the Defense Forces in a day delivered nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, and units of missile troops and artillery hit two areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
Recall that at a meeting of the Headquarters on March 14, a decision was made to further protect Bakhmut.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense urged not to believe fakes about the battles for Bakhmut. Their goal is to sow a discussion in Ukrainian society about whether it is worth defending the city “at any cost”, as well as distrust of people who make military decisions.
