On the eve of a full-scale invasion, he quit his service and left for one of the EU countries. From there, he called his former colleagues by phone and urged them to desert from Kiev, promising that in this case “everything will be fine” with them. And in case of refusal, he threatened to “leak” their personal data to representatives of the Russian special services,” the SBU said in a statement.
The former intelligence officer also tried to convey to the enemy information about mobilization activities and locations of individual units of the Defense Forces and for this he tried to obtain this information from the SBU officers.
