Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the warehouses of Russians with ammunition
Cherevaty noted that Russian troops continue to actively use artillery in the Bakhmut and Limansko-Kupyansk directions.
The defense forces destroyed six Russian field artillery depots in the Bakhmut direction in a day. This was announced by the representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Cherevaty on the air of the telethon.
“The Russians have a tendency to reduce ammunition – they deliver shells from remote regions, shells of lower quality, and a longer “delivery shoulder”. And we are constantly working to destroy their field artillery depots. In particular, in the Bakhmut direction, six such warehouses,” Cherevaty said.
According to him, Russian troops continue to actively use artillery in the Bakhmut (191 shelling) and Limansko-Kupyansk (395 shelling) directions.
Cherevaty said that Ukraine needed a missile and artillery advantage to win.
“The more long-range weapons, the greater their destructive power and the more accurate the weapons, the greater the advantage. This provides the ability to hit enemy command posts and concentrations, its logistics, warehouses with fuel and lubricants and artillery shells,” he said.
As reported, according to the General Staff, the Ukrainian military repulsed the attacks of Russian aggressors in five directions and inflicted serious losses on them.
