Utilization of Russian aggressors is in full swing
The fiercest battles are taking place in the areas of Kremennaya, Torskoy, Belogorovka and Disputable, and Bakhmut remains the epicenter of hostilities.
The Russian aggressors are trying to advance virtually along the entire eastern front line. But Ukrainian units have achieved partial success in some areas. This was stated by the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky, according to the Military Media Center on Friday, March 17.
According to Syrsky, the Russians are trying to break through the defenses and move into the depths of the battle formations. The most fierce battles are taking place in the areas of Kremennaya, Torsky, Belogorovka and Disputed, and Bakhmut remains the epicenter of hostilities.
“The enemy has used all his power and is trying to break through the defenses in several directions and completely surround the city. Fighting is taking place in the north, east and south of the city, thanks to the courage of our soldiers, the enemy suffers huge losses and once again rolls back without success,” the general assured.
Syrsky admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine also suffer losses, but they are much less than those of the Russians.
“In some areas, our units have partial success,” the commander of the Ground Forces added.
Recall that during the day on March 16, the Ukrainian army repulsed 70 attacks of Russian aggressors. The enemy continues to try to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, regardless of the losses.
