On the night of this Thursday (16) the fighter from Paraíba Antônio Carlos Júnior, known as “Cara de Sapato” was expelled from Big Brother Brasil 23 for sexual harassment. Singer MC Guimê was also eliminated for the same reason. The announcement was made during the live program this Thursday (16) by presenter Tadeu Schmidt.
The victim was the Mexican visitor, Dania Mendez, who entered the house on Wednesday (15) to participate in an exchange between the programs: The House of the Famous of Mexico and the BBB 23 from Brazil. During the “Leader’s Party” on Wednesday night, Cara de Sapato, from Paraíba, forced a kiss and physical contact with Dania. Mc Guimê, on the other hand, caressed the Mexican’s body without her consent, who came to realize and remove the singer’s hand from her butt in a few moments.

During the morning of Thursday (16) several people asked through social networks for the expulsion of the two. Some sponsoring brands of the reality used their social networks to demonstrate their rejection of cases of harassment, they were: Mercado Livre, Amstel, the network of Pharmacies Pague Menos and Nestlé. During the live program for the whole country, presenter Tadeu Schmidt communicated the decision of the BBB 23 team.
“We have a guest in our house, a visitor, but above all, a woman. And like all women, she deserves absolute respect. We talked to Dania, thank you very much for the clarifications, but based on everything we’ve seen and heard , we don’t like it. Sapato and Guimê passed the point. You have to be careful with the limits, here and elsewhere.

BBB 23 viewers and fans criticized the way in which the announcement was made, since the program even exposed the victim by showing questions asked by the production to confirm if she had felt inconvenienced by the participants.
During the announcement, the Mexican Dania Mendez, cried copiously and asked for forgiveness feeling guilty for what happened. Presenter Tadeu Schmidt again pointed out to Dania that she was not at fault. “Dania, what happened here had nothing to do with what you said. It’s our decision. This responsibility is not yours and this is not your fault”, stated Tadeu.
The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro launched an investigation to investigate singer Guilherme Aparecido Dantas (MC Guimê) and fighter Antônio Carlos Coelho Júnior (Cara de Sapato) for the crime of sexual harassment during a party at BBB 23. Viviane da Costa Ferreira Pinto , holder of the Police Station for Assistance to Women (Deam) of Jacarepaguá, reported that the reality images are undergoing analysis.
