Flávio Dino, Minister of Justice and Public Security, said he will sue federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) for racism. The parliamentarian associated him with organized crime, after visiting Complexo da Maré, last Wednesday (15).
“At first, I didn’t even consider filing representations because these people don’t deserve much attention. But I thought about the aggression against thousands of serious and honest people who, just because they are poor, are being stigmatized in a vile and cowardly way. , there is racism”, explained Dino, in an interview with the UOL portal, this Friday (17).
“In addition, there is a breach of decorum, because it is a blatant lie that I went to meet with the drug lords. The other delusional lie is that I was without police protection. There are crimes against honor that are being analyzed and will be the object of these measures that will be taken. I will announce it on Monday”, concluded the minister.
Eduardo Bolsonaro’s attack against Dino was made on Wednesday (15), on his Twitter account. “Flávio Dino, the minister who enters Maré, the most armed favela complex in Rio, with only two cars and without exchanging fire. with organized crime in Rio. This is absurd”, posted the deputy.

Let’s summon him at Com. Public Security to explain his and his boss Lula’s level of involvement with organized crime in Rio. This is nonsense! pic.twitter.com/vAm29iTrgV

In another publication, Eduardo Bolsonaro goes further and asks. “As well as what he went to discuss there: disarmament? Re-registration? Assassination of police officers? Drug seizure? Or thanking the crime for not allowing Bolsonaro propaganda in these areas during the elections?”
Dino repudiated the speeches of the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). “These people go on electoral campaigns to the favela of Maré and ask for votes from others. Then they say that whoever goes there is a friend of a bandit, as if all the residents were bandits. This is execrable, hideous, disgusting. It is unacceptable. These people have to respect the poor people of the country.”
