Head of State Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in an expanded defense format between Ukraine and the United States.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a conversation between representatives of Ukraine and the United States in an expanded defense format. The head of state announced this in a video message on Saturday, March 18.
“On the part of Ukraine, there were the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief, the commanders of operational areas – these are Generals Syrsky and Tarnavsky, the Air Force Commander, the Head of the Office. I joined this conversation,” Zelensky said.
According to him, “the goal is obvious – it is to strengthen our soldiers, new solutions so that Ukraine is able to carry out active actions and defend itself from Russian terror, to restore real security.”
Zelensky stressed that today there is only one subject that destroys life: Russia. And in the fight against such an enemy, there is only one way to protect life – to expel the Russian army from Ukrainian soil.
