The United States reaffirmed its unwavering support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression
Representatives of state administrations and defense ministers of Ukraine and the United States discussed security support to repel a full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation.
The United States of America will continue to provide military, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the confrontation with the Russian Federation. This was stated on Saturday, March 18, in a statement by the press service of the White House, made following an online meeting of the military leadership of Ukraine, the president and representatives of state administrations with the American side.
The report said that the parties discussed security support to repel the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as updated information on the situation on the fronts.
US officials assured the Ukrainian side of “the unswerving US support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fierce confrontation with Russia.”
Ukrainian officials provided an update on conditions on the battlefield and expressed appreciation for continued U.S. security assistance.
The White House also noted that US officials reaffirmed the “unwavering support” by the States of Ukraine “as it defends its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
The United States of America intends to provide Ukraine with $7.4 billion in additional financial assistance by September 2023.
The United States continues to work on a new military aid package for Ukraine.
