In Ukraine, they believe that in order to fight against Russia, our state needs about 4 billion euros only for shells.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the countries of the European Union will sign a plan for the supply of ammunition for Ukraine for the year ahead. On Sunday, March 19, Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak reports Twitter.
According to him, the signing of the document is scheduled for Monday, March 20.
“EU foreign ministers should sign an ammunition supply plan for Ukraine – with the aim of providing Kyiv with 1 million artillery shells over the next 12 months,” he wrote.
At the same time, the journalist noted the “impressive diplomatic work” of Estonia, which laid the foundation for this case.
Earlier it was reported that in Europe there is a shortage of explosives to increase the production of ammunition for Ukraine.
