The invaders began to actively use armored vehicles, especially in the Limansko-Kupyansk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
The Russian military is most active in the Bakhmut and Liman-Kupyansk directions. At the same time, armored vehicles began to be actively used in the last section. This was announced by the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty on the air of the telethon.
“During these days, in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy made 197 attacks with various types of artillery and MLRS, attacked our positions 35 times. In particular, in the Bakhmut area alone, he made 73 attacks and tried to attack 25 times. This is the northern part of Bakhmut itself, Orekhovo, Vasilyevka, Bogdanovka,” Cherevaty said.
In these battles, the Russians lost 96 invaders killed, another 153 were injured of varying severity.
In addition, the Limansko-Kupyanskoye direction in recent weeks has been the champion in artillery shelling by the Russians. So, during this day, the invaders carried out 442 attacks, and 11 clashes also took place.
The invaders are actively using armored vehicles in this direction. During these days, the Ukrainian military knocked out one enemy infantry fighting vehicle and two tractors, destroyed 3 mortars and 2 ammunition depots.
Earlier, Cherevaty also said that the Russians tactically failed the operation to capture Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.
