Over the past day, Russian troops continued to shell the border area of the Kharkiv region, at least 14 cities and villages were under fire. This was announced on March 21 by the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
He clarified that the invaders fired artillery, tanks and mortars at Kupyansk, Volchansk, Dvurechnaya, Glubokoe and other settlements.
“In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried unsuccessfully to break through the defenses of our troops by firing artillery at settlements along the line of combat,” the head of the region noted.
He added that at about 6:00 am on Tuesday, the Russians fired mortars at the village of Basovo – more than 20 hits were recorded. Power lines were damaged, but there were no casualties.
Recall that during the day on March 20, the Russian army shelled the Kherson region 66 times, one person died and seven were injured.
