The regional center was shelled five times. 19 shells hit residential areas, private and apartment buildings.
The head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, published data on the shelling of the region over the past day, March 22.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy fired 54 shells, firing 319 shells from heavy artillery and Grads. The enemy shelled the city of Kherson 5 times. 19 shells hit residential areas, private and apartment buildings. Unfortunately, there are casualties. One person died, two were injured,” the head of the OVA writes.
Prokudin also said that yesterday, March 22, 91 people were evacuated from the de-occupied territory of the region.
On the eve it was reported that in the forest belt in the Kherson region, a man was blown up by a mine.
