The highest percentage of positive feedback was from Leonid Kravchuk, the lowest – from Viktor Yanukovych.
The Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, conducted a survey to find out how the citizens of Ukraine relate to the previous presidents of the country.
The survey results showed that:
55% have a positive attitude towards Leonid Kravchuk, 38% negatively;
to Leonid Kuchma positively -45%, negatively – 50%;
to Viktor Yushchenko positively – 53%, negatively – 42%;
to Viktor Yanukovych positively – 7%, negatively – 91%;
to Petro Poroshenko positively – 39%, negatively – 57%.
Earlier, a poll showed that the majority of Ukrainians associate the future of the country with Europe.
