PGR wants Mendonça to assume the request to suspend Nikolas accounts
The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) defended that Minister André Mendonça be the rapporteur of the action that requests the suspension of the social networks of federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) in place of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court ( STF).
Deputy prosecutor Carlos Frederico Santos argued that the action is linked to the lawsuit against Nikolas for the transphobic speech made by the parliamentarian in the Chamber of Deputies, in which Mendonça is already rapporteur.

The request to suspend the congressman’s social networks was made by federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) in the context of the investigation into the coup acts of January 8. For the PGR, however, the deputy’s request is unrelated to the inquiry into Bolsonarist acts reported by Moraes.
“The requests made against Federal Deputy Nikolas Ferreira relate to the fact that occurred on March 8 of this year, with no connection to the acts that threaten the Democratic State of Law”, defended the deputy prosecutor.
