German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock plans to expel more than 30 Russian diplomats accredited in Berlin from Germany. This is written by the German edition of Focus.
These ambassadors are reportedly using their diplomatic immunity to illegally recruit German informants from the political, business, scientific and military spheres for undercover, sabotage and disinformation operations.
“Moscow’s intelligence services, located at the embassy in Berlin, as well as several consulates, are now apparently stronger than they were during the Cold War, with about 160 officers,” the publication says.
