This Sunday (26) takes place the first walk in Luziense of peoples of African origin. The activity begins at 9:00 am, at the Chapel of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, in Santa Luzia, a municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.
Organized by the Encontro de Terreiros Afro Luziense (Etal), the walk aims to discuss with society the issue of religious intolerance and publicize Law 14,532/2023, which equates the crime of racial injury to that of racism, sanctioned by President Lula ( PT), in January of this year.
Participants in the activity will walk to the Igreja Matriz de Santa Luzia, where they will hold a celebration. To learn more, visit Etal’s profile on social networks.
