New Kakhovka is still under the occupation of the Russian Federation
The massive rotation provoked the understanding that the troops were packing up and leaving. But some divisions left and others entered, the spokesman of the command said.
The Russian invaders rotated in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, which was mistaken for leaving the city. Natalya Gumenyuk, press secretary of the Southern Defense Forces, announced this on the air of the telethon.
“At first it was a massive rotation, which provoked an understanding that the troops were packing up and leaving. But some units left and others entered,” Gumenyuk said.
Recall that on March 22, in the evening summary, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders had completely left New Kakhovka. However, the military soon denied their own report, noting that information about the Russians leaving the city “was published due to the incorrect use of available data.”
Meanwhile, Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, are collecting looted items and sending them away, which likely indicates plans to leave the village soon.
