A man accidentally found a treasure with gold
It’s the biggest nugget he’s ever met. The cost of the stone is about 240 thousand dollars.
A resident of the Australian state of Victoria, using a budget metal detector, found a 4.6 kg ingot in the “golden triangle”. It contained 2.6 kg of gold. NCA NewsWire writes about it.
It is noted that the “golden triangle of Victoria” is the area between Ballarat, Bendigo and Saint-Arno.
The man took the stone to the Lucky Strike Gold office in Geelong for evaluation. And there it became known that he had found a real treasure.
“He took this stone out of his backpack and threw it into my hand and said, ‘Do you think it’s worth $10,000?’ those things that change lives. “When he threw it into my hand, my jaw dropped,” said the expert.
According to him, this is the largest nugget that he has ever met. The cost of the stone is about 240 thousand dollars.
“If you had asked me a few years ago, I would have said that the average age for this hobby is 50 years and older. But now we see many people in their 20s and 30s doing it,” the expert added.
Recall that earlier a resident of Denmark, Ole Ginerup Schitz, accidentally discovered about a kilogram of ancient gold. It turned out that this is one of the greatest treasures in the history of the country.
