Illegal production of low-quality components for weapons was exposed in Lviv. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
It is reported that the father and son equipped the premises for the production of mufflers for weapons and, having introduced two more citizens, set up their sale under the Ukrainian brand: they sold goods with false characteristics.
In the future, the silencers got to the front, and there, due to low-quality components, the accuracy of shooting worsened, which sometimes even led to their rupture.
“Underground manufacturers did not pay attention to complaints from buyers. Similar complaints were received by the official manufacturer, who turned to law enforcement officers,” the report says.
The pre-trial investigation in this case has been completed, the indictment has been sent to court. If the guilt of “entrepreneurs” is proved, they face imprisonment for up to seven years.
Earlier it was reported that the businessman is suspected of supplying low-quality products for the military.
Recall that a scandal erupted in Ukraine due to the purchase of food for the Ukrainian army at inflated prices.
