This Monday (27), the date on which World Theater Day is celebrated, the Teatro Oficina at the Multipalco Eva Sopher was inaugurated, an installation linked to the Theatro São Pedro Foundation.
The state public institution is installed in Praça da Matriz, in Porto Alegre. Together with the historic building, it forms a cultural complex of more than 25,000 m².
Teatro Oficina has capacity for 120 spectators and there are three different types of compositions for the audience, that is, the arrangement between actors and audience can change according to each artistic production.

The opening event, closed to guests, took place on Monday night, with the premiere of the play “O Homem e a Mancha”, with text by Caio Fernando Abreu, direction by Aimar Labaki and interpretation by Marcos Breda.
On Tuesday (28), “Macbeth in Pop: Guerras Urbanas!” premieres, featuring dramaturgy and direction by Henrique Leal, produced by Grupo Teatral 1º ATO
On Wednesday (29) there will be a special edition of Soiree do Solar, with the musician Luciano Leães and the participation of Ronaldo Pereira, Bruno Nascimento, Júlio Rizzo, Ronie Martinez, Edu Meirelles, Vicente Guedes, Solon Fishbone. Admission is free and the show starts at 7pm.

Also on the program is Recital Fronteira, by the duo Martim César & Oscar Massita with Duo Copla Alta, from Uruguay. The presentation takes place on Thursday (30), at 7 pm, also at Teatro Oficina do Multipalco. Tickets for the show cost R$40 and can be purchased on the Theater website.
Organized by the visual artist, writer and editor Alfredo Aquino, the event will also include the launch of the CD “Canciones que nacen del camino”, by Martim César & Oscar Massita. Also on Thursday, at 6 pm, there will be the opening of the photo exhibition “Fronteira”, by Elis Vasconcellos, and the autograph session of the book “FACAS – Chosen Tales”.
