The last monument to Lenin was demolished in Odessa
The sculpture of little Ulyanov was dismantled on the territory of the children’s health center.
In Odessa, the last surviving monument to Vladimir Lenin, who was located on the territory of the children’s camp on Fontana, was demolished. This was reported on Wednesday, March 29, by the local publication Dumskaya.net.
On March 16, the executive committee of the Odessa City Council decided to dismantle the sculpture of little Ulyanov, located on the territory of the children’s health center Young shipbuilder.
In January 2021, a public organization Decommunization. Ukraine requested the demolition of this monument, along with 14 other surviving sculptures throughout the country.
