Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipovsky
The country’s Foreign Ministry noted that if Russia defeats Ukraine, it will move further into Central Europe.
Ukraine’s partners must do everything possible to defeat Russia in order to permanently discourage the appetite for theft of foreign territories. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipovsky, reports Novinky.
“I believe that we must deal a strong blow to Russian imperialism in order to cut off once and for all Russia’s colonial appetites for stealing the territories of other countries,” Lipovsky said.
He noted that the Czech Republic may not play a key role in military assistance to Ukraine, but sets an example for other countries.
“And that’s what we do. We can explain our security concerns – and we do – and explain the danger that today’s imperial Russia poses to the world,” the Foreign Minister said.
He stressed that if Russia defeats Ukraine, it will move further into Central Europe.
Earlier it was reported that in the Czech Republic they bought RM-70 MLRS with missiles for Ukraine. Citizens of the Czech Republic collected more than $1.3 million for it.
