There is no loss in war: one of the main tasks of the belligerent is to destroy the physical strength of the enemy, the deputy defense minister noted.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar reported on the ratio of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the army of the Russian Federation.
“Unfortunately, losses are an inevitable consequence of war. There are no losses without losses. One of the main tasks of the belligerent is to destroy the enemy’s physical strength. But the enemy’s losses are many times greater. This is despite the fact that they have an advantage in terms of the number of personnel and weapons. They had more losses in 2014-2015, but now that ratio has almost doubled in our favor.We have such days in the East when the ratio of those killed reaches 1 to 10. This, of course, is not every day, and the average ratio is lower , but nevertheless,” Malyar said.
Recall that from February 24, 2022 to March 29, 2023, the total loss of personnel of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine was approximately 172,340 people killed.
