The Fire Department was triggered to attend to the occurrence around 13:30. According to initial information from the portal G1, the shooting would have happened inside the office of deputy Marcelo Dino (União Brasil). However, the identity of the man has not yet been released. His state of health is stable.
Alerj’s internal regulations prohibit carrying a weapon in the headquarters building and its adjacent areas. Failure to comply constitutes a disciplinary infraction in addition to a misdemeanor. The only exception is porting by security department servers when in service.
