Eviction of the MP: Protests take place in the Lavra
The priest of the UOC-MP came out of the church with a bucket of water and doused one of the activists. The guy waved away the priest with a stick, but he continued to pour water.
Protests have continued in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra since the morning of March 31. There are about 200 people on the temple grounds. TSN reports.
It is noted that the priest of the UOC-MP left the church with a bucket of water and doused one of the activists.
The guy waved away the priest with a stick, but he continued to pour water.
In response, another activist doused the priest with bottled water.
Earlier it was reported that on March 30, the monks of the UOC-MP will be evicted from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
Recall that today at the Lavra there was a small brawl between supporters and opponents of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate). Several opponents of the UOC-MP, who had previously held a picket near the Lavra, marched with a banner Away from Rusnya from the Lavra to the territory of the monastery, where parishioners held an impromptu prayer service.
