Armed Forces of Ukraine inflict heavy losses on Russian aggressors
The Ukrainian military destroyed an entire artillery unit of the Russian aggressors in a firing position.
From February 24, 2022 to March 1, 2023, the total losses of the personnel of the Russian aggressors on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 173,900 people. This was announced on Saturday by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Last Friday alone, at least 630 Russians were liquidated.
Also destroyed since the beginning of the war:
- 3616 (+1) tanks
- 6981 (+4) armored fighting vehicle
- 2683 (+8) artillery systems
- 527 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems
- 279 (+1) air defense systems
- 306 (+0) aircraft
- 291 (+0) helicopter
- 2248 (+0) UAV operational-tactical level
- 911 (+0) cruise missiles
- 18 (+0) ships/boats
- 5528 (+7) vehicle and tank trucks
- 296 (+2) units of special equipment.
The day before, the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had destroyed important Russian targets, including two anti-aircraft missile systems, an artillery unit in a firing position, and an electronic warfare station.
Earlier, the GUR said that now the apogee of the “big offensive” of Russia. For more than a year of the war, the enemy has not achieved a single strategic goal that was set in the Kremlin.
