Exhibition “Ukraine. Crucifixion. Tribunal”
Andriy Yermak noted that Ukraine considers it very important to create an International Special Tribunal for the leadership of Russia.
Ukraine is waiting for the UN General Assembly to adopt a resolution to punish Russia for the crime of aggression. Head of the President’s Office Andrey Yermak stated this during the opening of an exhibition in New York dedicated to the war crimes of the Russian Federation in Bucha, the press service of the President’s Office reports.
“On behalf of my suffering compatriots, I call on all of you to support this resolution. And I ask you to do everything possible to hold the terrorist state accountable for the crimes it has committed,” Yermak said.
At the initiative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on March 31 – the day of the liberation of Bucha – in New York, 100 meters from the UN, in the room 866 United Nations Plaza, the opening of the international exhibition “Ukraine. Crucifixion. Tribunal” took place. The exhibition is dedicated to the crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and is being presented on the eve of the UN consideration of the issue of creating an International Tribunal that will punish Russia for the crimes of aggression.
Yermak noted that Ukraine considers it very important to create an International Special Tribunal for the leadership of Russia and said that 90,000 war crimes of Russians have already been recorded in Ukraine.
“The war crimes of Russia are so brazen and obvious that the International Criminal Court recently issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. First of all, the main and primary crime committed by the Russian dictator is precisely an act of aggression,” the head of the Presidential Office stressed.
Andriy Yermak emphasizes that not only Putin is to blame for the aggression against Ukraine – dozens of people from his entourage participated in organizing the war.
“All these people should get what they deserve. For this, a special tribunal should be created that will judge and punish them,” Yermak explained.
Earlier it was reported that Zelensky and European leaders paid tribute to the victims in Bucha.
