The plant began to produce aviation ammunition for fragmentation-type UAVs: OBP-23.1 and OBP-23.05

The Ukrainian defense plant Mayak has started production of new fragmentation munitions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the plant on its Facebook page on Sunday, April 2.
These fragmentation munitions are used from unmanned aerial systems (UPACs).
“Aviation ammunition for fragmentation-action UAVs: OBP-23.1, weighing 1 kg, guaranteed kill zone with a radius of 11 meters. OBP-23.05, weighing 0.5 kg, guaranteed kill zone with a radius of 4.5 meters,” the report says.
Recall that the state concern Ukroboronprom, in cooperation with the NATO country, has launched the production of 122-mm artillery shells abroad and has already shipped the first batch of these ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Ukroboronprom received a new partner in the Czech Republic. Cooperation will consist in the production, repair and joint development of armored vehicles.
