Rocket and artillery units inflicted heavy losses on the Russian aggressors
Aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy.
Since the beginning of the day, about 40 clashes have taken place in the Donbass. The Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered 19 strikes against the Russian invaders, the General Staff reports in the evening summary on Saturday, May 20.
So, today the enemy launched three missile and 56 air strikes, carried out more than 40 attacks from the MLRS. There are dead and wounded civilians, residential private houses and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed.
The Russians concentrated their main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. During the day, there were 39 combat clashes in the indicated sectors of the front. The fiercest battles are fought for Bakhmut and Marinka.
In turn, the aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted eight strikes per day on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Russians.
And the missile and artillery units hit four areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, one ammunition train, four artillery units in firing positions, one air defense system and another important hostile target.
