Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the prime ministers of Britain and Italy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Japan. He also met with Italian Prime Minister George Meloni. It is reported by the Office of the President.
Zelensky and Sunak discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the president’s visit to Britain on May 14. The parties also raised issues of developing bilateral relations and coordinated their positions on the eve of the G7 summit.
With Italian Prime Minister George Meloni, Zelensky discussed the preliminary agreements adopted on May 13 during a meeting in Rome, as well as political support, improving Ukraine’s air defense and training Ukrainian pilots.
Recall that today the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived on a visit to Japan for the G7 summit.
As reported, the leaders of the G7 countries called on China to put pressure on Russia to stop its military aggression and withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
