The result of the enemy attack in the Zaporozhye region
Under enemy fire were 18 settlements in the region, 100 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure were received.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have delivered 84 strikes on peaceful towns and villages in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced on May 21 by the head of the regional military administration, Yuri Malashko.
He clarified that the enemy attacked 18 front-line settlements in the region. 68 artillery strikes were recorded on Stepnogorsk, Kamenskoye, Volshebnoye, Belogorye, Malinovka, seven attacks from MLRS on Shcherbak, Maly Shcherbak, Volshebny, and an airstrike on Olgovsky.
“The enemy attacked Orekhov with artillery and MLRS, in addition, they used prohibited incendiary ammunition on residential areas. The invaders hit Gulyaipol with artillery, MLRS and UAVs,” the head of the OVA added.
During the day, 100 reports were received about the destruction of civilian infrastructure: country houses, residential buildings, outbuildings, cars, shop premises, a prayer house, and agricultural machinery were damaged.
The State Emergency Service noted that pyrotechnicians seized two cluster elements from shells of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system in the Zaporozhye region. As a result of enemy shelling in the Pologovsky district, rescuers extinguished seven fires.
Recall that over the past day, the Russian army shelled the Kherson region 63 times, two civilians were killed and two more were injured.
