South Ukrainian NPP
The purpose of an international agency inspection is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear material.
The International Atomic Energy Agency conducted an inspection at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant. This was announced on May 22 by the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation.
Control measures were carried out from 9 to 19 May within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
The purpose of the inspection is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear materials.
As noted in the SNRCU, the check was successful and without comments.
