The Russian Federation will prepare prisoners for battle in just ten days
The decision to train the prisoners for ten days was made due to significant losses of personnel.
The Russian military leadership has reduced the period of training of convicts for military operations on the territory of Ukraine due to significant losses at the front. This was announced on May 22 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Against the backdrop of significant losses of manpower, the Russian military leadership decided to reduce to ten days the training period for personnel from among the convicts, whose base camp is deployed in the Starobelsk district of the Luhansk region,” the report says.
Earlier, about 1,000 people were brought to this camp from places of deprivation of liberty on the territory of the Russian Federation.
According to the General Staff, the initial training was planned to be carried out within four weeks.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian army continues to make up for losses at the expense of prisoners.
