NACP revealed signs of a criminal offense in the financing of the Servant of the People party
Three individuals made significant contributions to the account of the party, but the NAPC found that these citizens did not have the appropriate income.
NACP revealed signs of a criminal offense in party financing Servant of the people and sent a reasoned opinion to the National Police of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the NAPC.
“Three individuals made a cash contribution to the account of a political party Servant of the people for a total amount of UAH 2 million 896 thousand. But the NAPC found that these citizens did not have the appropriate income for such contributions. This may indicate that the individuals who made the contributions were in fact only managing the funds of third parties who intended to maintain the anonymity of the financing of the political party.
The NAPC notes that, in accordance with the law, it is not allowed to make contributions in support of political parties by anonymous persons or persons under a pseudonym.
