Alexei Navalny’s team released an investigation into the family of 67-year-old Nikolai Gusev, the head of the Vympel state machine-building design bureau, which develops and manufactures “aviation missile weapons with high target destruction efficiency.” The missiles of this enterprise, allegedly, Russia attacked the Zaporozhye and Chernihiv regions.
Nikolai Gusev, it was found out by the investigation, moves in a Mercedes-Benz GLS car, he has two such cars. His wife, Natalya Lvova, drives a Jaguar F-Pace, and his 32-year-old stepdaughter was given a Rolls-Royce for her birthday. Who exactly gave her this car is not indicated.
Gusev’s 20-year-old daughter Natalia has been living in the United States since 2020 and is studying psychology at the University of Miami, the investigation says. A year of study at this university costs about 60 thousand dollars a year, excluding the purchase of textbooks, rent and other expenses. She also enjoys golf and competes all over the world.
Natalia Guseva owns a BMW X1 in the USA. Thanks to the fine, the investigators found out her address of residence: Gusev’s daughter lives in a 70-square-meter apartment and, apparently, rents it. The average cost of renting such apartments is about 3.5 thousand dollars, according to the investigation.
Nikolai Gusev and members of his family are not under sanctions. Navalny’s associates urge to be included in the sanctions list, and citizens – write letters to MEPs about it.
