President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he had decided to dismiss all regional military commissars, and their places would be taken by military personnel who took part in the hostilities.
He announced this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, this decision was made following a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Zelensky said that those military commissariats that were not involved in corruption and intend to keep their shoulder straps will go to the front line.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army Valeriy Zaluzhny will appoint new leaders after their verification by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the military commissariat from the Poltava region of Ukraine was charged with beating a subordinate. Also, the Ukrainian court arrested the property of the former military commissar of the Odessa region Yevgeny Borisov and his family, he was detained in a corruption case.
