The prices of potato producers for their products in Russia decreased by 23.5%, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
“According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of August 9, producer prices for potatoes are 23.5% lower than on the same date last year,” RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that prices for butter and sunflower oil also decreased by 1.8% and 13.8% respectively.
Over the year, salt has risen in price by 3.5%.
Earlier it became known that in Russia for the year sales of watermelons fell by 18%, while sales of melons increased by 12%.
