The coach took the skates worth 150 thousand rubles from the athlete, which, according to the specialist, belong to the educational institution. However, Epifanova tried to return them by force, a scuffle broke out. As a result of the incident, the girl received several stitches on her head, and the coach’s retina was damaged by pepper spray. As the head of the TFR Nikolai Gulyaev noted, the organization is conducting an internal investigation.

However, Alexander Kardakov himself has a completely different version of the development of events. According to the expert, he was a victim in this situation.
“In training, I went up to her and took the skates. She pounced on me, sprayed me in the face with a spray can twice, I was completely blind in one eye. And how could I beat her if I didn’t see anything at all? I was just defending myself. I had skates in one hand and a backpack in the other. She beat me with her fists, I just kept my hands in front of me. In the emergency room, they said that the retina was damaged, ”the coach admitted.
At the same time, Kardakov confirmed that the conflict with Epifanova over skates has been going on for two years. Since the athlete moved from the Olympic Reserve School No. 1 to the Yunost sports complex.
“She trained with me, then she left the school and moved to another coach, but she doesn’t give up her skates … I have a lot of people now, but it’s bad with equipment. My skates are registered at the school, they are registered with me. And she is not a student. This has never happened in my 40 years of coaching. I am already 68 years old, and she is healthy, weight is 90 kg, ”the coach admitted.
