Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, expressed the opinion that most Russians do not give a damn about the dollar exchange rate.
His words are quoted by URA.RU.
Aksakov noted that he monitors the exchange rate of the ruble against the dollar due to the specifics of his work.
“From the point of view of the majority of the population, this ratio does not give a damn,” Aksakov said.
He also added that the situation with the exchange rate is under the control of the country’s authorities.
Earlier, the investment strategist of the management company Arikapital, Sergey Suverov, in an interview with RT, predicted the stabilization of the ruble exchange rate within a month.
