The Ukrainian army has deployed the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, the last major unit previously held in reserve, in the offensive, Forbes columnist David Ax said.
“The 82nd Air Assault Brigade, numbering 2,000 people, equipped with Marder and Stryker combat vehicles and Challenger-2 tanks, entered the battle in the Rabotino area in the Zaporozhye region in southern Ukraine,” writes Ex.
It is noted that the 82nd and 46th brigades were the last major reserves of the Ukrainian command.
According to the author of the article, when these brigades need rest, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may not have replacement units.
Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army was already running out of steam, but was still ongoing.
