The seminar Vidas Jovens Negras Importam, which takes place between August 17th and 19th in Belo Horizonte, will discuss the fight against the genocide of black youth, one of the biggest dilemmas faced in the peripheries of the country. The meeting, free of charge, will be at the Youth Reference Center (CRJ), located at Rua Guaicurus, 50.
The seminar’s program includes dialogue tables, lectures and artistic and cultural activities. From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm this Thursday (17th), for example, participants can follow the debate Nothing about us without us: dialogues on combating black youth lethality and its ways out.

Also on the first day of the meeting, from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm, a documentary will be released and, shortly thereafter, the book Juventude Negra Viva, which will be distributed free of charge to participants. On Friday (18th), the program includes art exhibitions, cultural presentations and the conversation circle Art makes mourning, fighting!.
