“Everybody’s cultural turn” is the theme of the 8th edition of Belo Horizonte’s Virada Cultural, which takes place this weekend, on the 19th and 20th. through the center of the capital of Minas Gerais.
The extensive program includes musical performances, visual and performing arts, audiovisual, leisure, games, literature, fashion, gastronomy, urban installations and others.
In addition to favoring artists from the city’s cultural scene, such as trap singer and composer Mac Júlia, who performs at 11 pm on Saturday, on the Viaduto stage, Virada also brings national names.

On the Sesc stage, located at Praça da Estação, on Saturday, starting at 10:30 pm, the singer and composer from Pará, Gaby Amarantos, will perform. In the same place, starting at 6:30 pm on Sunday, it will be the turn of the Titãs band.
The Virada will also have the Gramado and Parque stages, which are located in the Municipal Park, the Praça Sete stage, on Rua Carijós, and the Guaicurus stage, on the street that bears its name. In addition, the event has eight routes between the stages: Circuito Parque, Edifício Central, Praça da Estação, Teatro Francisco Nunes, Espaço Cine, Pista de Patins, Museu da Moda (Mumo) and Mercado das Flores.
This year, Virada Cultural in Belo Horizonte honors Maurício Tizumba’s 50-year career and 50 years of hip-hop on the world stage.
